Shiraz Club first started in 1964 with a group of men who enjoyed good
wine, good food and good company, Today after 40 years the club is still
going strong. Each year members run an evening where they supply the
wine and organise the food at some of Melbournes best restaurants.
The nights are often varied and the wines are always an experience. All wines and foods are masked, this encourages the members to discuss the food and wine. Comments on each course and wine are then presented by the members to the group for more discussion. The club actively promotes learning and is a great place to make friends. The club meets each 4th Tuesday of the year from February through November. The club is always looking for new members who have a keen interest in wine, so why not drop our secretary an email for more information. |
